If you prefer to take the Metro, you can ride LAX’s C-Line shuttle bus to get to the Aviation Station, where you’ll connect to the Metro’s C Line. From here, the ride to downtown LA takes about 1h 20min. For passengers planning to use a rideshare service to travel downtown, you can meet your Uber, Lyft, or Opoli driver at the LAX-it lot, which is connected to Terminal 1 by a walkway and by the free LAX-it shuttle service. If you’re renting a car at LAX, hop aboard your car rental company’s courtesy shuttle bus outside the terminal on the Arrivals Level to be transported to the off-site car rental lot. It's also easy to get downtown from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) trains are a convenient way to travel downtown.
