Entry requirements

All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane. Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure. Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB)

DAB is located just 4 miles southwest of Daytona Beach, next to the Daytona International Speedway, in Volusia County. There are a few options to travel from the airport to the city center.

Buses

Volusia Transit System operates the Votran buses throughout Volusia County. Buses arrive at the airport every 30 – 60 minutes. Bus route #19 arrives near the airport terminals every hour from 7:37 a.m. and travels to the Transfer Plaza in the city center in approximately 20 minutes. Bus routes #18 and #60 also stop less than ½ mile from the airport and travel to the city center. The one-way adult cash fare is $1.75 USD.

Shuttles

Shuttle bus services such as Daytona Orlando Transit Service (DOTS) offer semi-private pick-up and drop-off services from the airport to your destination in Daytona Beach city center. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes and fares start from $20.00 USD per person. However, these services need to be pre-booked up to 24 hours in advance.

Taxis

Several taxi companies offer metered taxis with standardized rates. Taxis are available from the east end of the terminal, located just outside the bag claim area.
