They flew my luggage to Toronto when it wasn’t on my itinerary, said there was nothing they could do so my partner and I travelled to Toronto spending at least $700 only to find out they flew it back to Montreal that same day. Didn’t get our luggage back until the day we were leaving back to Vancouver.

The overall experience is great, as is almost always with Porter. It was a small regional flight, so no entertainment built-in. Service was excellent as usual, and free booze in glass(!!) drinkware never fails to improve the overall experience. Plane was old, so seats were not super comfortable, but not a problem for our short flight.

The baggage checkin and boarding pass process was TERRIBLE. Took a Monday 9am 10/29/25 flight from Toronto to San Francisco. None of the kiosks worked properly for self tagging so Me and 100 + people with various flights sat in a line longer than any other airline waiting to check bags and get the boarding pass. The line takes so long that after about an hour they put the people who’s flight is boarding within in an hour to another line in an effort to avoid them missing their flight. Virtually everyone eventually goes to that line because the standard line moves too slow. Now that you’re in the “express” line, it still took approx. 30 minutes, you get to to front of the line and realize this is just to get a tag for your bag and boarding pass. You still need to drag your bag to another Toronto Airport line to actually self check the bag. Then you need to go through security. Another 20 mins. Then through customs. 10 mins. Flight was smooth, staff was fine. Free drinks and snacks. WiFi was intermittent. “Cheap “ seats were semi uncomfortable. Upgrade them. No free entertainment.

I liked the flight, boarding, etc. The food was horrible and no films, nothing. I understand that they don’t offer entertainment for a 1 hour or so flight, but for a 4 hours flight ……. Excuse me! Entertainment or free wifi. ,
