Flights to Armenia from the US typically take between 15 and 40h. The wide range in time is due to the various transfers required to reach this destination, some of which include long layovers. All flights from the US to Armenia will land in the capital city airport, Yerevan (EVN). There are no other airports available for arrival in the country. Flights from the East Coast, out of New York (JFK) typically take between 13 to 22h, with the average being around 18h. There are many options for flights that have short two to 4h layovers when departing from New York. When flying from the West Coast, out of Los Angeles (LAX) the total travel time to your destination will be around 20-30h. Most flights out of Los Angeles include two transfers which increases the total travel time. Flying out of the central US can lead to wide spreads in total travel time. When departing from a larger airport like Chicago (ORD), the fastest option is 19h while the longest is 37h. However, when flying out of Dallas (DFW) it is more common to see 30- and 40-hour trips.
