How to get to downtown Chicago from Chicago Union Station?

The area known as the Loop is considered the center of Chicago. If you’re catching trains to Chicago, you’ll be arriving at Union Station. This is the only train station you’ll find in the city. The station is in the West Loop just a short distance away, across the Chicago River. There are multiple transportation options for passengers in front of the station, from buses and taxis to subway stops. The bus to the Loop from Union Station can take under 15 minutes. For those taking trains to Chicago, the closest subway stops to the station are Clinton, with access to the Blue Line, and Quincy, with access to the Pink and Purple Lines. All these subway lines cross through downtown Chicago, taking you where you want to go in under 20 minutes. There are also taxi services available for travelers arriving on Chicago trains. Walking to downtown Chicago from Union Station is another possibility. It’s more or less 10 blocks, depending where in the city center you wish to go, and can take around half an hour.

Does Chicago Union Station have accessible facilities?
