Pros: My trip had two legs, Austin to Heathrow and Heathrow to Riyadh. The crew from Heathrow to Riyadh were great. I wish I could say the same about the crew from Austin to Heathrow.
Cons: Overall, the flight was fine. My comments are relative to BA 1st class. At best, I would rate it in the middle of the business class flights I've flown on other airlines. There is nothing about the experience that is actually 1st class from a separate lounge, to boarding, to in flight meals. The seats on my planes were worse than Turkish Airlines Business class (among many others). Storage around the seat is also FAR worse than other airlines products, even in business class. I had taken the same flights in November and 95-98% of the entertainment options were the same. There were, maybe, 2 new movies and 2-3 new documentaries/TV shows. The in seat charger only worked on one leg. Several meal options were "sold out." Mediocre at best.
Pros: Power outlets. Friendly staff.
Cons: What entertainment was there? No movie, you had to pay for internet. United to me seems to be a lesser luxurious airline, not like how it use to be. It’s apparent that they are making some cut backs. Not liking this bag fee they’ve added.
Pros: The crew was attentive and helpful.
Cons: Our layover was originally supposed to be an hour and a half in Phoenix. As we were boarding the plane from Austin to Phoenix, we got a notification that our layover had been delayed an additional 5 hours due to construction at SFO. I’d have appreciated more of a heads up than as I’m boarding.
Cons: Allow business passenger to use front bathroom.
Pros: inflight staff are good but on the ground staff at airport need a great deal of improvement
Cons: Delayed arrival at Bangalore by more than 1 hour.
Cons: Snack and some complimentary wifi or entertainment
Cons: Late departure as YVR would not allow us to land due to weather. Late arrival as YVR would not allow us to land as too many flights in the pattern.
Pros: Great crew and friendly
