The trains to Orlando from New York City are operated by the Amtrak national railway. The two Amtrak routes that make the journey between these two cities are the ones that make up the Silver Service: Silver Meteor and Silver Star. Both of these train lines travel from New York City to Orlando, however, they follow different routes. While they both make their way south from New York, the Silver Meteor line continues through Fayetteville, NC and Charleston, SC, after passing Rocky Mount, NC, while the Silver Star goes a little more inland through Raleigh, NC and Columbia, SC. The Silver Service train routes reconnect in Savannah, GA, and follow the same journey to Orlando, FL.
