One of the primary providers of cheap buses to Richmond is Greyhound Bus Lines. This bus provider offers several great amenities for their travelers, including free Wi-Fi. The buses also offer reclining leather seats with extra legroom and there are no middle seats, so every traveler either gets a window or an aisle seat. Most of the seats have personal power outlets and there is a restroom onboard the bus for passenger use. Beyond that, there's also quite a bit of overhead storage for use by passengers to free up the area around their seats for a more comfortable ride.
The bus station in Richmond has a very convenient location that is just a short trip to the northwest of the center of the city and offers easy access to Interstate 185, Interstate 64, and Highway 250. The station is around 3 miles (4.8 km) from the center of the city and you can ride aboard bus route number 14 to the station in around 10 minutes. If, instead, you plan on doing your own driving or you're going to take a taxi from the center of the city to the station, you should expect a trip time of around 12 minutes.
