A more comfortable mattress. Air conditioning in the hotel hallways and shared bathroom. A regular shower with good water pressure... I get that the rain fall showers are popular but not everyone can stand directly under the water.
Even though it was winter, the rooms were warm & the AC didn’t work well. The hotel bar is expensive, but it normal for NYC I suppose.
Co-ed bathrooms, eek!
The room was a bit musty. The whole place could use some airing out. But hey, it's historic!
