Convertible Car Rentals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

I am having trouble getting a refund from Sixt. I may have to sue them. No phone number to call. No response to emails. No customer service.

Alex was very helpful. I appreciate that he was willing to help. When I got into town I was supposed to pick up the car off site away from the airport which I wasn’t aware of. He was able to get me into a car at the airport which was a major convenience.

The car was brand new and nice, although I waited a long time as the staff had no sense of urgency and there were other staff standing around On the return they just sat and waived me to drive up to the rental office and I kept asking if someone was going to assist me. They 2 employees just sat talking to each other and finally called someone to check in the car.

I liked the service and pleasantness of the ppl! I was in and out within minutes. I would recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car to any and everyone! THANK YOU!!!

Attendant at pick up, couldn't be bothered to to help in any way just wanted paper work signed and for us to leave.

Too much hidden cost. I paid 300$ + 80 at the desk and surprise $ 640 for an old mega car that i would't. All for 10 days. $ more than $ 1000. Too expnsive

This was a last minute rental because of flight cancelation. The agent was friendly and helpful, the pickup and drop off were easy and uneventful. Through force of habit I typically rent from another company, Due to this experience I will rent from Avis in the future.

I became a Gold member in order to avoid lines and people. I was told I didn’t have to get in line just look at the screen for my name. My name wasn’t in the screen so I had to make a line. They finally tell me the exact location of my car. I get to it and I see a car that does not match what I rented. I asked two different workers there what do I do. Both of them tell me to just take the car. I explained to them I just arrived from a long flight and I have a baby. I do not want to be back and forth so please confirm. They both tell me just take it, not a problem. When I am leaving parking lot, the manager tells me I have to get all my things out of the car and go to a different car. I explained to him what his two workers have said to me and how I had already put my baby’s car seat in. Main reason I wanted confirmation before. He gets mad and me and tells me to move out the car quickly. I found it rude and disrespectful for him to treat me that way after I wanted to avoid all that and become a gold member for what? Still issues came nothing was smooth. I had my family of five getting out in the middle of the exit, rearranging the stroller and bags again. They refused to give me my license until I switched cars, acting as if I would steal something? I never cared for the car I just wanted to get my family to the hotel. The treatment was unnecessary especially since I was the one making sure which car to take. Avoid!

Booked with you all for a different location then wasn’t “allowed” to drop off to my selection point. Had to cancel last day and was only given $15 back for loss of a whole last day. Hertz informed me I was not allowed to drop off car at airport with a lock box or drop keys somewhere. Then when I took car a day early to Hertz in Port Charlotte, the manager told me I actually could have dropped off key to Punta Gorda airport, which was my original plan. Lost lots of money including paying fir Uber rides because I no longer had rental car. Horrible experience

They refused to rent me a car because I only had a debit card … even though I told them they could authorize as much money on the card as they wanted

This was the first time we rented a Tesla and we requested if someone could give some explanations, the person that they assigned to us was not helpful, had no patience and apparently knew very little about the car. Regarding where to charge the car, was another problem, as no one explained that we could only charged in a Tesla Super charge station. Only after seaching in the internet we find out that regular station does not have an adaptor for Tesla and the one in car did not fit in the regular charge station.

Car was clean. It ran well. HUGE lineup at checkin counter. Only half the counters. Waited over one hour to pick up car.

First and last time I rent with Dollar. I have no idea if it was Fort Lauderdale, but I had to stand in line for 2 hrs to get to the counter. Over 150 people on line and only 3 clerks, RIDICULOUS!. And once you get to the counter, another 2 hrs waiting to get the car!. I stand on line at 12:36pm. Got to the counter at 2:36 pm and finally I got my car at 4:37pm!! Ahhhhh!

Impossible to reach any human at Dollar to change or add to an existing reservation. Very bad not to have ANY customer service to speak to. Will not rent again from Dollar.

Car was extremely dirty. Paid way too much compared to other sites. Was charged additional fees without being told. Put reservation under my name and wasn’t able to change to my husbands name. I do not drive in the USA. Again paid extra. Terrible customer service when I called to rectify charges. Never again!

I had booked for a suberban with my family of 5 and they handed me a nissan rogue at the same price claiming that there was more but at the same price as a subwrban without wanting to compensate me…shame on you!!

We waited in line for 2 hours and then they said it would be another 2 hours to get the car! So we left. Worst place ever.

Have someone answer the phone and help.

The low cost was amazing and the speed with which they process the pickup and drop-off is the best I have experienced. I rent a lot in Fort Lauderdale and this is the best price and best service I have had in Fort Lauderdale.

Customer service was horrible. The cars smelled bad and are they are beat up. Don’t forget to read the fine print. They require you to bring the declaration page of your insurance if you plan to use your insurance. The insurance card is not enough. All the cars are scratched and or dented so make sure you take pictures before you leave.
