When we picked up the vehicle, it had no heat! It was 26degree weather outside, so heat was a must. We called customer service who gave us significantly wrong information for an exchange, including wrong hours, which resulted in us getting locked in the garage with no heat in the freezing cold after hours. Overall it was a very rough experience!

Really easy! However it would have been nice if the guy at the Austin car lot was more knowledgeable about how to hook up my cell phone to blue tooth. Dont forget to sign up at rentalradar.com for price drops. Every time rates went down, I made a modified my reservation. Saved over $225 in the course of 4 months by paying attention to rate drops.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The process from pick up to drop off was smooth and fast. I only had 2 incidents: one was the car tire pressure alert and having to stop to put air into the right rear passenger tire. The staff were sorry for that inconvenience, The second : The Nissan Altima has many safety feature alerts- some I was not aware of- in heavy rain- so if you are unfamiliar with the car you are renting- ask the questions before you drive away. The staff are helpful to answer questions.

Pickup and drop off were easy as they could be. Signs entering the Austin airport could have been more helpful when returning the car. We had to u-turn twice to get to the right place. That's not the fault of the rental car agencies. The car was clean and we were given a thorough walk around before pulling off. It drove and behaved beautifully. We returned the car two days early and there were no questions and our final charge was adjusted accordingly.

Any communication that no human being from Avis would be available at 2:30 am (due to Allegiant Airlines delays) would have been a big first step in customer service! But, in these useless, almost careless days of anyone giving a flip about anything and about anybody, it’s all very understandable.

Staff working airport service desk were very nice. But… Time: It took about an hour from time I arrived at counter to time I drove out of garage. Product: I didn’t get the car/category I had reserved. Garage Staff rushed me into a car from a different category, that wasn’t as comfortable as the car I had reserved. I had reserved a Toyota Camry (or equivalent) but ended up with a small Mitsubishi SUV (hard seats, loud road noise, low horsepower). Service; like I said, the counter staff were nice. The garage staff weren’t so much. They acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me more for the car I ended up with, which clearly wasn’t the experience I was seeking. Cleanliness: The vehicle had a used mask hanging on the sun visor and some dirt in back floorboard. I know it’s tough for them right now, so I don’t like to complain. But this was not the car I wanted to drive around my 80 year old mother on a road trip.

The service was fine but if I had known the rental place was so far away from the airport I wouldn’t have rented there. I was also charged for a second driver and toll fees which I wasn’t expecting…

I arrived at the airport and was on hold for 45 min calling to get a shuttle, when the shuttle picked us up and I went inside I saw a empty counter, with a line of 3 people waiting.. while I could see in the back room 3 men having lunch.. not even caring there is a line.. or answering the phone.. when one finally did come out, he was extremely slow.. and then they all teamed up together in front of all of the different customers saying how important it was that we had to upgrade to they toll pass in order to get to the F1 race.. it will ave us so much time instead of waiting in the cash only line on the way to COTA, and we all did, except the fastest route from the office to COTA did not go on the toll road, which im sure they knew. either way non of this is worth complaining about.. except when I saw the car... what a junker! I mean straight from a DEMO DERBY! im going to a race filled with high end cars, and no issues this was all they had, but the quality.. just shocking! major damage on the car, it had clearly been in multiple accidents, and then they walk around to write down if they see any damage. "you're going to need a bigger pad" . anyway before they give me the keys they want to know when I fly out.. well that wasn't good enough they needed a Flight number and confirmation so I gave him my return ticket which he spent 20 min entering.. and I told him id be drooping off the car very early that morning before my 6am flight.. no problem only to arrive that morning and they are closed, with no drop off box anywhere to be found. and no shuttle to take us to the airport. super disorganized. last time I use NOT SO EASIRENT.

Although we reached out during their normal business hours, we were never able to pick up the car, because we weren’t able to contact them to get the shuttle to the location. We finally got in contact with someone who told us she would call us back with an update on when to expect the shuttle, but she never called us back.

They said pickup was at the airport. It is not. You have to walk 1/3 mile with your luggage to take a shuttle to their place which is 15 minutes away. I waited thirty minutes for the shuttle and finally gave up and rented from another company.

Easirent was not at airport. It’s halfway across Austin. I abandoned the car pickup and got an UBER to our airBnB instead. When I went to pick up the car later on my second Uber I found it in an industrial park area, which wasn’t terribly concerning, but it had a couple red flags. Just not a place I would want to bring my family. Finally when I arrived the scene was utter chaos. I saw an employee walking around looking for a car clicking the key unlock to locate it while dozens of customers looked destitute and as frustrated as I was with the experience of not finding their car at the airport. As I walked inside I found a waiting area full of crying children and families waiting for cars and a line of the drivers about 8 deep with no one at the counter answering questions. It was then that the same employee from the parking lot walked back in and stepped behind the desk to continue what sounded like a frustrated conversation of a desperate customer to just take the quickest option to get a car and leave. After trying to ask the sole employee what the odds of getting my car in the next hour or two was I decided that I wasn’t prepared to do business with this company and ordered my return Uber to the airBnB and ordered a Turo car for the rest of our visit with a brilliant experience. Hugely disappointing overall. Would not recommend. Please avoid. I haven’t chased down the couple hundred of dollars that we lost on the reservation and not getting a car yet, but I’m not holding my breath.
