We stayed at this property a number of years ago and were really impressed at its beauty and facilities. It seems that they have not invested in upkeep as things are feeling tired and worn now. The pools are a sad shadow of what they once were. The waterfalls that used to set a nice ambiance are now not running. During our stay the water slide never ran for a minute despite the staff telling us it would open. The beds, bedding, and pillows were not very comfortable. We had breakfast in the SWB the last morning and it was very mediocre, especially for the price. We will stay somewhere else next time we’re in Scottsdale.
