On the edge of Lecce, the golden-stone capital of the Salento, the Best Western Plus Leone di Messapia Hotel & Conference, Lecce, Italy, pairs elegant rooms with a wellness area and a large conference centre, close to the ring road. It works equally well for a wellness break, a celebration, or a large business event, with easy access around the city and out into the peninsula. The relaxed setting suits both work and a sun-filled southern holiday. Free parking, a restaurant, and bright meeting rooms round out the easy, modern stay. Lecce dazzles with churches and palaces carved from soft golden stone and is often called the Florence of the South. The twin seas of the Salento bring the turquoise Ionian and Adriatic coasts, with their sea caves, within a short drive, while the cone-roofed trulli and whitewashed towns of Apulia spread north toward Ostuni and Alberobello. Silver olive groves and old masserie farms cover the flat countryside around. CIN Code: IT075035A100022189
