Luckily, most of the city’s main sites are within walking distance from each other, but if it’s a particularly rainy day, there are multiple transport options around Cambridge. The railway station is situated a mere 20-minute walk from the city center, alternatively, you can catch a taxi, several of which pass the railway station. However, if you want to be as central as possible, we recommend staying on or near Round Church Street, where you’ll have ten restaurants on your doorstep and close proximity to shops in Cambridge. The city center is also a great place to stay if you want to be close to all of Cambridge’s nightlife, as well as close proximity to most of the city’s museums.
