The sales rep Chuck was exceptional in making sure we had a vehicle with enough space to safely and comfortably move our son into college at Yale. We drove from VA to CT without any issues! While the van I reserved wasn’t available Chuck made sure this mom had no additional worries, I am so glad he suggested this vehicle, and was so professional and kind the entire time. Great Customer Service is alive and well!

The first vehicle we got wasn't a good experience. The cruise control didn't work and the ABS light was on. However, we exchanged the vehicle with complete ease and the second vehicle was much better! Overall great customer service!

The Avis staff wasn't expecting my arrival at the reservation time. I had to wait for the agent to come back from the lot and then he had to call around to find my reservation. Similarly, the drop off felt chaotic...I didn't know who to return the car to...and I still haven't received a final invoice to confirm there were no charges.

Had an issue dropping off the car because they wouldn't come to the door. Ingot charged an extra $75 to drop off at a different location even though they said I wouldn't be charged anything extra...

I originally had a reservation for a Saturday, but I arrived and there was no car available for me to rent. I had to scramble to borrow a car for a few day. They did work to provide a car the following Monday so that helped a bit, but they set it up as a brand new reservation and the price per day was $60 more per day then my original reservation. I didn't realize the price had changed until I dropped it off at the end of my trip. They said they couldn't fix anything after the rental contract had ended. The whole process seemed very hap hazard and would have left me in a huge lurch if I didn't have a friend I could borrow a car from for a few days.

Our check in process took a very long time and concluded in us being given an absolutely filthy car. We had to stop at a gas station and buy cleaning supplies so we could stop feeling gross while driving to our destination. Drop off was a little frustrating because we had to pass several Hertz locations that were closed. When we called hertz to inquire about dropping off our car at one of those locations, they said the key drop box would only be available when that location was open. What’s the point? We ended up getting our drop off changed to an airport that was closer than the original drop off location in the end.
