My travel day was being continuously delayed and I was unable to meet my group at the airport to drive them to our destination. I tried contacting both Hertz and the third party provider and both kept saying there was nothing they could do to help, so we needed to call the other. When trying to get ahold of the local Hertz location, I called multiple times and sat with the phone ringing for 5+ minutes each time; all being different times of day. When I asked them about it, they said they must have been busy.
The staff was great but I had to wait nearly 3 hours to get my car that I had reserved. They provided a discount but that was incredibly inconvenient while my family had to wait. They did not have wait I had reserved so I had to settle for something less.

The car was great - a new minivan in excellent condition. We reserved a toddler car seat but then noticed in the reservation confirmation that “additional charges could apply.” I called to see how much they would be, since we could check a car seat for free on our flight, and was told that the charges for the car seat were “already included” in the rate that we had. But when we got to the Enterprise desk, we were told they were not and we had to pay an additional $35. This was rather annoying. The line at the airport was SUPER slow, and then it took a while for them to find the car seat and it took us an extra long time to get it attached since the hook locations in the mini van were not obvious. But, aside from that, everything went smoothly and we do recommend Enterprise as a company.

Counter staff were very helpful. Upgrade was super!! New car was very high tech. Would have been helpful to have owners guide to figure out how to operate some features. Otherwise the car was very fun to drive and very economical.

Great pickup and help from local agent. Drop off was scheduled for 5pm. Called the local store (where it was picked up originally)10mins before 5 to tell the agent that i would be there at 4:55. Instead i was on hold until i arrived (on time) to find no one there.... So i put the key in drop box. Now i have to go tomorrow to make sure i have no late feel and refund the safety deposit since iused my debit. But all agents at fwb location are superb
Ease of pick and drop off. Very quick easy , in and out. As far as rental car experiences go, definitely good memorable one.

We had to wait in line for 3 hours to get our reserved rental car only to get more awful service and moved to a Tahoe which didn’t fit our family and luggage. Was then told we would get a discount which didn’t happen. Now I get to waste more time on the phone with Avis trying to get this figured out. If you are renting from the Destin/Fort Walton airport location….BEWARE!!

The car wasn’t ready. We had to wait an hour for them to clean it and when we got to the car, it wasn’t even clean—there was sand all over the floor still. Customer service was poor too. No one to greet us at drop off to make sure the rental was good or anything. As a preferred customer, we were not pleased with our experience.
All was well except for the long and slow line to pick up the car. It was a joint Budget/Avis counter, and took 30 minutes.

Long wait, rude staff, disgusting dirty stained upholstery in car and I was over charged after returning a car I drove less than 50 miles. Not sure why, but I will never rent from budget again!

After a canceled flight at the destin airport on Saturday July 2, I was able to rent a car from you all at 10pm to make a 13 hour drive home. After getting to the car I saw the word “tire” was written on the window. Then when I turned in the car it gave a low pressure light. I went back in to ask someone to get a different car and no one was there to help me and all the car kiosks were closed. I couldn’t sleep at the airport so I drove the car to a gas station and put air in it. I didn’t feel comfortable and don’t believe it would have been safe as a single woman traveling alone in the middle of the night to begin a 13 hour drive not knowing what was going on with the tire. I then wasn’t able to make my non refundable $210 hotel reservation I had made outside of town and had to stay in a nearby hotel last minute for $300. I did this hoping that in the morning I could get the tire figured out and potentially exchange the car if needed once they had opened.

The car was given to me filthy. Surfaces were sticky and lots of hair all over sears, some food leftovers under the front seat. The counter person at the budget tricked me into paying for full tank. That was unacceptable.
The rental was not clean and even had ants… We dropped it off early. Additionally, even though we dropped it off the same day the reservation has not been closed out, so we are getting daily pending changes on our credit card (currently on day 4 of this madness).
