They gave me the wrong car said it was a 4 by4 and over charged and I had to argue and prove from Jeep dealer it wasnt to get a charge.

The overall was experience was terrible. The price quoted for the rental was correct. They quoted me $16.88/ per day for insurance but charged me more than $70.00/ day. The contract is all in Spanish, so it is hard to determine what the charge is. I found out when I check my card statement. I immediately went to the office in Merida to resolve it but was told they (1) did not understand English well enough, and (2) they could not do anything about it. The car was high milage, the sides and rear of the car were scratched, the interior seating was badly stained and dirty. they said they had no better vehicle available. I will not do business with Payless ever again. I also question the value of using Kayak in the future. Note, I insure to two late model vehicles for about the same amount over 6 month period then they charged for 15 days. This should be a crime.

The price is very good but it takes a long time to deliver the car

Kayak sold me an insurance policy that Payless said was worthless and would not honor it unless I made a $3000.00 us dollar deposit with them. I feel Kayak should have known this and not pushed their insurance. I also feel I should have been alerted to the price of insurance at Payless ($775.00)us.Eric

When I booked at San Francisco airport... It would have been nice to pick the car up at the airport. Not a $40 uber ride away.

The employees at 340 O’Farrell we’re exceptionally friendly, warm, and efficient, especially the team upstairs in the parking lot where I was sent to both check in and pick up the one-way rental car I’d reserved. Kudos to them!

Our entire rental experience was great. Gabe and his staff were a pleasure to work with. We are always pleased with Enterprise and the SFO rental office exceeded our expectations..

We loved the easy pickup and drop off. Got a free upgrade to 8 seater and the extra room was great help on our road trip for family gathering.

The check in staff was outstanding! Their customer service was excellent and they were attentive to our needs. Best car rental experience we’ve had!

Unfortunately the car that was given to us was very dirty, it was dented and scratched and not operating in its most optimal condition.

Nice car but needs oil change and clean properly

The person working the front desk was unnecessarily dismissive when my car was not ready, nearly half an hour after I had scheduled to pick it up. (It was another hour until it would be ready) Again: a delay with a car is understandable. A dismissive response is not.

I had the “manager’s special” but I didn’t know it involved an electric car. I told them I haven’t driven or recharged one before so they gave me an ICE (internal combustion engine … a gas powered car) and charged me $40/day extra! I was visiting a first cousin who was in a San Francisco hospital and recently diagnosed with cancer. Thank you Thrifty for punishing a lifelong gas engine driver who can’t afford and never driven a California-approved electric vehicle! Felt like they were, in effect, saying if you’re too old, stupid or incompetent to drive an electric car … you’ll be sorry you chose us … oy vey!

Kayak.com scammed me by presenting text and a picture of a internal combustion engine powered SUV while reserving me an electric vehicle based on the reservation code according to Thrifty. No one ever answered my calls. The chatbot's only response was to contact the company which then proceeded to charge me $198 for reserving then immediately returning the electric vehicle which wasn't even fully charged. I do not intend to ever use product or service again. Very very disappointed in your product, customer service and company. Never again and I will do my best to share this experience with anyone who cares to listen, read or learn about my terrible experience.
