Passengers arriving on Reno trains will get off at Reno Amtrak (RNO), also called the Amtrak Train Station Reno. This station is conveniently located near both the downtown area and the popular Riverwalk District. To get to downtown Reno from the Reno train station, you might want to walk, since the main streets are just a few blocks away. As for the Riverwalk District, it’s also close enough to walk to; it’s only a couple of blocks farther than downtown Reno. If you’re trying to reach other parts of Reno, there is public transportation that can take you there. Right next to the train station, you can take one of the numerous public buses that transit through the RTC Bus Station. These bus routes cover the entire Reno area. After arriving and exiting trains to Reno, you can take the 1 bus to the popular Nevada Museum of Art.

If you have Reno train tickets, upon your arrival at the Reno train station, you can quickly explore the city, thanks to the train station’s convenient location.
