Denver Union Station is located just northwest within the city center. Passengers arriving on trains to Denver will put them right by the Coors Field ballpark as soon as they get off. This ballpark is the home of the Colorado Rockies. Next to the station, you can walk across the Denver Millennium Bridge. This cable-stayed bridge offers pedestrians a beautiful skyline view of the city. Nearby, along the South Platte River, there are a few great places to visit, especially if you’re traveling to Denver with children. Just a short tram ride from the station you can enjoy the Elitch Gardens theme park as well as the Downtown Aquarium. This same area of Denver also has the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus. If you’re looking to head into town from the station, Union Station is practically in downtown Denver and just walking distance from places like Larimer Square.
