On the coast road to Portofino in Santa Margherita Ligure, the Best Western Regina Elena, Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy, is a modern seaside hotel with comfortable rooms, free Wi-Fi, a private beach with a restaurant and bar, and a garden running down to the sea. A rooftop solarium with a heated pool and a whirlpool opens in the warmer months for sweeping views under the Ligurian sun, and covered parking makes arriving by car easy. The beach and gardens are made for long lazy days. Santa Margherita Ligure is a graceful resort on the Italian Riviera, set on a palm-lined bay east of Genoa. Pastel villas and a pretty harbour ring the seafront, the chic fishing village of Portofino lies a short drive or boat trip around the headland, and walking trails climb into Portofino Natural Park above the sea. Ferries run along the coast to the Cinque Terre nearby. - CIR: 010054-ALB-0020, CIN: IT010054A1RYGL5TD8
