Situated within a forest clearing that's about half a mile above sea level is the Wirtshaus Nattererboden guesthouse. The natural setting lends itself well to relaxation, and you'll get to enjoy observing some unique farm animals that graze around the area while taking in views of the mountains in the distance.
The guesthouse is part of a property that houses a restaurant and bar. There's breakfast available every morning. You'll find an airport shuttle available from the hotel, a game room at the property, and picnic areas for the warm weather seasons. This is a region where there is skiing close by for the cold seasons of the year so the hotel also offers ski storage on site.
Wirtshaus Nattererboden guesthouse has only five units on offer. You can book a double room, a ground floor apartment, a double room with a sofa bed, or either of a couple of large apartments, one of which can accommodate up to nine people. The rooms are attractive and include a lot of natural wood. They have free Wi-Fi to use, as well as flat-screen TVs with satellite channels.
The restaurant at Wirtshaus Nattererboden serves local dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A couple of miles away, you'll find other dining options, such as New India Restaurant, Machete - Burrito Kartell, and Kultur.
You can find many hiking trails in the area around the guesthouse. You can also walk to the Bergisel Ski Jump, the Imperial Palace, and Ambras Castle. Other activities to try at the property are mountain biking, horseback riding, and there's sledding nearby.
