Very close to the airport. Apparently recently renovated, but not sure how recently; already showing some wear and tear. Some odd decisions in the renovation planning if the renovation was recent: no USB ports at the bedside, lighting in strange places (for example, a large floor lamp jammed between the dresser containing the TV and a square table pushed up against the wall). Strange design decisions, such as the square table having no chairs and a coffeemaker tray on it: is this a desk without a chair? Is it a place for the coffeemaker with no outlet nearby? Also some random problems: the handset in the phone didn’t work, inadequate parking at the front of the hotel requiring use of a very sketchy back parking lot and a making nearly all walks to the front door very long. Did not try the pool area. Bright spots: the gym, though very small and in what appeared to be a repurposed guest room, had modern equipment that was in good shape. Beds were comfortable and clean. On the whole, a solid option for an early morning flight from Flint, but perhaps not a leisure stay choice.
