Car pickup and drop-off was easy. However, the car smelled like marijauna, which made my mother and sister feel sick. The smell was overwhelming. I’m not sure how a car with that smell could have been offered.

Very disappointed with Hertz. After having my rental booked for over two weeks, I showed up the morning of my rental only to be told I couldn’t get my car. I already had paid for the rental, and the day of they told me they wouldn’t accept my debit card which was already on file, paying for the car. So on Christmas Eve, my family drove all night to get me and my wife where we needed to go. I just wish someone had been more clear with the specifications on being an under 25 driver. All it said online was that more fees may apply, but to show up and not be able to pick up the car I already paid for is just very disappointing

Easy pickup. Helpful staff. I appreciated the good price for a one-way rental on short notice. Easy return, although I would have liked to have spoken with the agent about the low tire pressure warnings that began about an hour into my rental.

I booked a sedan, but was given a pick up truck, which was so tight on the pedals that my legs still hurt after 2 days of driving it.

The representative that helped us when we went to pick up the car was not friendly at all. The car smelled like smoke and didn’t seem comparable to the vehicle we originally selected.

The pick location was incorrect, when I arrived there the building was closed with a sign on the door indicating where I needed to go. Luckily my uber driver didn't leave when it looked like no one was at the office! There is no reason I shouldn't have received a call or email about the change in location, I made my reservation well in advance.

The inside of the vehicle was horrible. We actually had to clean the dash, steering when and console area. There is NO WAY that vehicle had been cleaned for some time. In fact, if it wasn’t for a time frame for us to leave, we would have switched to either a new car or rental agency. Upon return, we mentioned the uncleanliness to the clerk; there was NO response or apologies for the condition of the vehicle. We will not be using BUDGET for rental needs in the future. Lastly, it appears the vehicle wasn’t going to be cleaned even after our use, because the clerk asked if we had put the car BACK into a numbered space. We replied no, because it was left at the entrance with hopes they would take it to a wash bay. Apparently not! Otherwise, the vehicle did get us there and there weren’t any issues and drove quite well.

They don’t have the car I picked online, instead they gave me a big truck I never drive before. The online insurance is fraud, they said the online one doesn’t cover their car, have to spend another 30$ to get their insurance. Anyway this experience is awful

First car had a low tire representative had a nasty attitude when I requested a properly inspected vehicle. Second car wasn’t full of gas and further attitude was received when I asked for a full car. Very poor employees
