Luxury Car Rentals in Oranjestad, Aruba

The first car I received was unfortunately, difficult to drive because the transmission was subpar. I called the rental office and they immediately told me that they could give me a different car. The second car I received was much better and I had no problems with it during the month of rental.

Customer service from the shop in Aruba was excellent.

Easy as can be for pick-up and drop-off. We had a tire go low and just drove it in and they put a new tire on immediately. Highly recommend!

Car was all ready and clean. Last few times I rented the car was not clean. Everything was ready. All I had to do was sign and drive. They would not pick me up. I had to take a cab which costs me $17 to go get the car.

The people at the desk were extremely rude and they make you sign a document that seems to be a presigned, blank check for damages to the rental car, which did not seem like standard practice. In addition, our rental reservation was not honored, instead we were bullied into paying more for a car of equal size (They said it was bigger, it was most certainly not) because the car we reserved was not available. However, the math did not add up. They claimed that it would cost me an extra $15 total, but when it was all said and done, everything cost about &100 more than expected for just a few days of rental. In addition, kayak has not been very helpful, not we’re carrentals.com who this reservation was booked through, as I already reached out to them and explained my dismay over this whole dishonest encounter, but they haven’t even responded now 5 days later. If I were you, I’d book directly with a car rental company like budget so that one of these companies can take your money and then claim that the other company has your money and that they still require that you pay more.

We expected to pick up the car directly from the airport when we didn't see an Economy sign at first we thought we were ripped off had to ask someone where to go. There was a person holding a small sign across the street that stated Economy in very small letters, we were a bit confused. He had to take us from the airport down the street to where we picked up the car. The were very nice at the rental company and very helpful. We felt that we were misrepresented and could have chosen another rental company if we knew this ahead of time.

the pick-up person was at the airport waiting for us with a cold van to take us to our car. The fellows at the rental office were very accomidating and pleasant.l totally recommend this company. The drop off was equally easy. I would use them the next time I am in Aruba ,which will be next year.

We didn’t end up renting. We had to cancel the trip due to illness. It was impossible to get anyone in customer service and they still charge us for half of the days. It took 2 days of trying to speak to someone and it never happened. We had to cancel through the website.
