Thrifty did not actually have any car’s available. The website incorrectly allowed a reservation to occur. There was no problem with the local staff, they were very kind.

We went to the rental company and they did not have a car to rent. They said kayak secured the reservation without checking to see if they had a car. The biggest problem is that I prepaid you for insurance that I am having problems getting refunded. Bad experience!

First the location. It wasn’t on the airport. No transportation provided by Triffty.ti other location So I picked up on the shatter. Was talk it will be a 10 more dollars per day. I agreed. Just got a statement via email is 250 more than agree. Can you please contact me or I will need to call my bank to stop payment. Thank you

I guess if they let me know i didn't really need extra insurance that would have been nice.
I had trouble with the ignition key and they were coming right out to help, but the situation fixed itself before they arrived. Staff was always very pleasant and helpful..
Car was working fine, people were nice. Not very comfortable but good overall.

Our car was filthy, had a lot of blood stains all over, we felt so uncomfortable driving the car, if there are blood stains that means the car didn’t get cleaned. Our tires was bald and we didn’t feel safe driving. Seems like their cars are not maintained. It’s not safe to drive a car with tires that are very thin. Very disappointed with our rental, to think we’re in a different country and we want to make sure we feel safe.

Car was not there at the time of booking. Staff was disrespectful and rude. Staff told to wait an hour to get car and I canceled the booking
My experience was disappointing. The car had many scratches, and for the price, I found it expensive. The radio didn’t even have Bluetooth, and although it had a USB port, it didn’t charge my phone or allow any connection. Since this was in Aruba, it is normal for some sand to get inside the car. The seats were delivered dry but with a bit of sand, yet they wanted to charge me $100 USD for cleaning. In the end, they reduced it to $60 USD, but I have never been charged for sand cleaning by other rental companies before. Additionally, the rear door seal was damaged, so the door did not close properly. I fixed it myself because it bothered me to see the door misaligned and have to slam it shut. On top of that, the car was misaligned, causing it to pull to the sides while driving, which affected comfort and safety. The car was a Nissan Versa 2020. Overall, I do not think the service or the vehicle quality justified the price.

Tried to give us a car that the seats were discussing. Refused the car and they gave us another junk car. Car did not start one day and they had to come replace the battery. Will never use them again!!!

The staff were friendly and professional. Check in and check out were quick. The car was clean. Fees were transparent. The only catch was the car had trouble accelerating and appeared to be past it's service date, but the island is so small this wasn't much of an issue.

The staff at Auruba were excellent in getting me a car but it took a extra day. Just remember reserving a car on these travel websites doesn’t guarantee you will have a car!!!
Reserved in September and arrived on time February 21st and they didn't have a car available. She said I was 1 of 5 they couldn't provide a car to. I did read reviews and expected this to happen. What I didn't expect is that she found another rental company to give me a car. It was double the price but still cheaper than any other agency by half. The vehicle was a tin can. Literally the worst thing you could imagine. But I was happy to have a car.

The car was fine and exactly as promised once we received it. It took them an hour to get us a car. They only have one person working so if they are getting a car, the desk is completely unmanned. When we returned the car, no one was there to take the keys. I ended up snapping a pic of my keys and return details and leaving it on the desk, as I needed to catch my flight. Be careful of the agreed rate when you prebook vs what they try to charge. Needed a couple corrections.

We mixed up timezones, so we arrived an hour later than we said we would and they had already given our car to someone else and didn't have any other cars for us. We had to find another company at the last minute and pay a lot more.

There are NO signs in front of the Aruba airport to direct you to Payless. Nothing whatsoever to direct you to the building next to the airport that only has Payless in it along with a hotel. Even calling the 800 number they had no idea where the offices were located. Only after going to Budget did they know where the Payless office was located.
