Car brakes made a loud noise. Very uncofortable, but I was too far away to go back and exchange the car. Office hours start at 7:00 so, if you have an early flight on your way out, you may have some troubles returning the car.

Airport pick-up was slow, waited at the car rental terminal for a very long time, system was very slow and the staff took their sweet time as well to process the paperwork. None of the staff could speak English, not even basic, making it very difficult to communicate. I purchased insurance as well as part of the booking, however the car rental office said that the insurance was not valid and they forced me to taking additional insurance on top that collision damage & 3rd party liability insurance i paid for on the website when booking. the insurance ended up becoming very expensive due to additional insurance and fees paid at the time of rental. Took me 2 hours and ~$70 USD in addition to get the car rental for the 9 hours that i needed it i Monterrey. definitely a very bad experience, would think twice before booking again with Europcar.

Couldn't find the rental company, I asked around, Google the name, see the address and the phone number on the reservation and phone didn't work, address there was no way to go clearly It was in the mty airport

We waited at the airport for more than an hour to get picked up after speaking with an agent and being told multiple times someone would be there within 5 minutes. Calling the rental agency took multiple attempts because the line would disconnect. We told the agency we had 5 passengers and they sent a driver in a sedan to pick us up so we had to sit on laps in the backseat to fit. It would have been faster and cheaper to wait until our flight landed and go through Avis or another airport rental agency (we know because after an hour of waiting we began the process of renting another car but stopped because the pickup managed to arrive). When we spoke with an officer at the airport to figure out where we should go, he and another shuttle driver said they had never heard of this rental agency and that we were being scammed. Once at the office to sign the paperwork, they added on an additional $140 USD charge that was not communicated previously.
