Everything was excellent! Their customer service is amazing! I would just like a bit more info on where to go right from the moment you make the reservation cause I was waiting for a bit until it occurred to me to call ha! However not everyone coming from out of town will have access to call a Guatemalan phone number. THANK YOU for a great experience!

When I arrive to Alamo they had one car which I was the one I reserve but the guy in charge told me that they didn’t have any more cars and he didn’t know if they were gonna get more so I never got the car 10 minute later 4 guys shows up to rent the car I had reserve I believe they rent the car for higher price because it was Semana Santa en guate and I told the guy I was gonna put a report when I get lo los Ángel from Guatemala and he told me to go ahead that it i did the reservations in la not Guatemala very bad experience

No hidden fees or agendas and the service was beyond expectations. JianCarlo went above and beyond helping us during a crisis, I truly hope he's cherished in the organization.

When we arrived, they didn't have any car of any size available for my reservation; the friendly representative at the counter told us they were overbook because of the holidays, and he offered to help find alternatives with other rental companies. It was very frustrating because it forced us to change our plans and scramble to find another way to travel that day. To make this service better they should either have more units available or manage better their inventory to avoid overbooking.

There was no agent at the airport counter although I had indicated an arrival time upon reservation. We found someone from another rental company to kindly make a phone call for us to the contact phone number left on a piece of papier at the counter. Someone came to pick us up and drive us to another location which made me uncomfortable since I was with my young niece and the area was unlighted and in a back street, not a main road. The car was banged up and scratch and after less than 10 km, it started acting up (kept slowing down on it's own and starting back up) with lights coming on in the dashboard. We eventually made it to Antigua from Guatemala city and I called Ace. The eventually came to deliver a new car the next evening. It was a compact car (I had rented an intermediate). The Ace agent told me I should make a claim with Kayak.

I had prepaid the fee for the car rental one month before I came to pick it up and had reserved for a Toyota Camry or equivalent. When I arrived to pick it up at the reserved time I had to wait 1/2 hr and the car given to me is a much smaller Toyota Agra. The car was beat up with a rear bumper falling off and floor mats worn to the chassis. When I confronted them on this they admitted it and promised to deliver to my hotel a Camry ( or comparable car) but never did so. When I returned the car and requested a partial refund they said the manager wasn't available. I feel Kayak shouldn't list this very shady car rental company that falsely advertises.

ACE's location as advertised as being at the airport terminal: it is not. The actual location is several blocks away and it is not walkable. Waited over an hour for a shuttle. I had reserved an automatic and was told they only rent manuals. They said they were unable to issue a refund and that I would have to contact the company I booked online with. If you are renting a car in Guatemala City, do not waste your time with this company.

They didn’t show up since my rental was for only 2 days. A guy at the airport called the rep (Mayela I guess) who said they are not doing it for only 2 days. I was forced to rent a car with a different company

They gave us a car in bad shape: wasn't clean, windows didn't work, volume knob didn't work, engine had a burnt oil smell and when you turned the wheels had a constant clack noise. Had to return it and claim a different car, but they promised the manager will call back and never did. Lost half-day waiting for the replacement car
