I forgot to give the attendant the key at drop off. Had to have it shipped back to them. Bad on both parts.

The clerk at pickup was very helpful as were the attendants at drop off. I had no issues with the car at all.

The agent working at the airport is very unpleasant. He had me waiting in the line so he could finish playing on his cellphone and then make a personal call. When I had questions regarding the price difference and why I was being charged twice, he wouldn’t give me answer but highlighted portions of the agreement . It felt degrading. The car was not cleaned very well in the back. They vacuumed the floors but not the seats. The pick up experience was much better. The attendant was extremely friendly and helpful.

On a busy friday afternoon, there was no Thrifty staff on duty at DCA, our nation's capitol. We had to wait in an incredibly long line at the Hertz counter as they were covering for the lack of staff at Thrifty. When being assigned the "manager's special" as they called it, we were told that Thrifty prefers to give the very smallest car in their lot, even if better ones are available. Thrifty is pretty consistent in giving the poorest customer service in the industry.
