Unfortunately the price difference between picking up at the airport and offsite is huge, and there is no way to easily tell the the office closet to the airport, with appropriate hours of operation, so I had to take a $50 lyft ride to get to the rental office (offsite from the airport-- which I am told, still saved me money on the overall rental).

People at check out counter were extremely rude and yelled at guest before us, were rude to me, the car had obviously not been cleaned at all. honestly the worst rental car experience I've ever had.

The company had NO cars, 20 due in with no expectation when they would arrive. Attendant offered that I call Budget headquarters, but advised it was a one hour hold. I canceled a reservation with Toro because I have never had this problem before though I know rental cars were scarce. Do better- communicate with them to assure there is availability.

Our issue is with Kayak- requested airport rentals but found out, at the airport, that the car we reserved was at another location in the city. Don’t know if the issue is Kayak or Priceline (who we apparently booked through)- there was know way for me to discern this. Terrible

Drop off was easy, the rest was horrible.

Apparently there’s two different Budget rentals in Denver, which we had no idea. We just hopped on the budget rental shuttle. When we got there we were informed we were at wrong location and we would have to Uber to right location but they would be closed when we got there. We ended up having to pay an extra $300 to get a car. Very frustrating when you don’t know the area.

I reserved a commercial van through a third party and Hertz did not have one. They wanted to give me truck over four times the price, lucjily the manager gave some discount but it was still too much but I needed a truck to haul so I had to live with it. Beware of making a reservation you might not get it! I felt like I was Seinfeld. You can take the reservation but you can't hold the reservation. Or something like that. The manager was the best and at least helped somewhat.

Wait at airport for shuttle bus was very long, as was the wait at the counter to pick up car. Staff were friendly, but agency appeared to be under resourced.
