Customer service was excellent…. Helped that there was no line. Went to the Budget desk and sign indicated to go to Avis desk which was a bit confusing. Verbal directions to find car were good but once outside, signage could have been better.

It was noticeable that cleaning the car had been attempted. However, the windshield wasn't clean at all, very dirty instrument cluster and driver for entry area.

Check in and drop off was easy.. Unfortunately the car smelled severely like cigarette smoke. For a non smoker that was a huge issue. Set off my allergies instantly. Purchased multiple air fresheners over the 3 days I had the vehicle. Unfortunately it didn’t help very much. 😡😡

I ordered Hertz car through Kayak and then I cancelled Hertz. Kayak and Hertz can't seem to get it straight that I didn't get the car. I keep getting messages, "Are you ready for your trip?" It was extremely hard to get the refund. They charged me a $50 cancellation fee. Don't go near Kayak or Hertze!

Reserved a full-size truck or SUV, vehicle was switched out for a "Crossover SUV", which did not meet my needs. Was informed of this after I had arrived at the airport. Hertz rep said there were no options, yet there were Hertz trucks in the rental lot. They did not compensate price completely.

I flew to Midland Odessa. When I signed up with Kayak there was no clarity that I would not be picking the car up at the airport and had to spend another $22 and wasted time to go and pick it up at the outside site. Thanks Kayak.

Okay the car was not clean properly and also I noticed some issues. Bad smell and was showing some warning on front bumper sensors. Looks like it needed front end alignment even the steering wheel was crooked. My options thy need to put more attention to the vehicles THANKS
