SUV Rentals in Mesa, Arizona

Had to wait at the pickup counter for 20 minutes until the attendant returned from walking his dog. The vehicle reserved was a Nissan Rogue but got stuck with a Ford Escape. Was not happy about that since there were Rogues in the lot. While clean, the auto transmission shifted roughly and the in car navigation system didn't function unless cabled to a phone. Upon returning the car, several others also were confused as to where the drop off was. It was in a different location altogether. There was no attendant in the lot only a faded print out map of where the drop off was. Once making our way to the actual drop off location, it was quick and hassle free.

Drop off was semi confusing with no people around. Left paperwork at check-in desk. Loved the car and checkin experience!

Tried to change the drop-off location. Spent hours on the phone and was never once able to speak with someone who could help me. Will never rent from Hertz again.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Easy pick up and drop off. Everything was fine.

I couldn't pick it up the shuttle was backed up for hours at the airport. Never got it. Canceled before pick up time.

Ridiculous length of paperwork! Impossible to read or understand. Many additional fees!

Counter people in Phoenix airport were the best! However dealing with people over seize in another country for reservations and or changing reservations we’re absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! If I have to use people from another country I will not book with Enterprise again. They were rude. I asked to have my reservation changed because my flight changed. The guy was super rude. I didn’t get a confirmation of the change. Called a half hour later and talked to someone else and found out he did not change the reservation per the person I spoke with. The second person changed it but it was still messed up. I always use Enterprise and was extremely disappointed!!!

I liked I could drop the rental car off in another city. Things that could have gone better 1. They could offer a map, like they use to, to get to the freeway. I’m old and don’t have a navigation device. 2. Shuttle service to budget, no help from them. Being last off plane we missed all taxis, took 2 hrs to get to budget. 3. Unfriendly service once we arrived. Our rental was a dirty car. 4. Once on our way, The car had a light on that wouldn’t go off, pull inconveniently off the road to find they never latched down the front hood of the car. HELLO! 5. The last blow was the return! Pull in they check everything out and see the gas gauge IS on full I’d just filled up. They wanted a receipt for the gas, I was NEVER informed that I would need proof. He basically accused me of trying to return a car without filling up, said some cars the gauge doesn’t drop off the full mark?? WHAT I just drove 170 mi. and you’re telling me your gauge doesn’t work? Needless to say they charged me $49.00 for gas. Need I say more….

should of got refund car was nasty not cleaned at all went back they didnt have no other cars and car didnt even have spare tire!!
