It was not good. The 1st car they gave me had dents all over. The rims were ground down on one side of the vehicle. The front bumper was crunched. They would not give me my free upgrade or my AARP discount. They said they could give ne a downgrade which I refused. I was disappointed and the girls at the rental counter laughed at me when I left. I ended up having to go to another location after speaking with an Avis customer service rep due to a bubble in the driver's side front wheel on the sidewall where they again would not give me the upgrade and made me take the car across the street to vacuum it out because of dog hair which I did not have a dog in the car. I am a senior citizen recovering from back surgery. They then gave me the same car only newer which was a plus. They said customer service dud not know what they were talking about when they said I could have my free upgrade. The whole experience was unpleasant.

Pick up - car wasn't cleaned. I suggested a discount - the answer was basically take it or leave it. Perhaps Avis should offer a voucher for a car wash in this situation. Return - vehicle needed an oil change in the middle of my trip (total of 2000 miles) so I had the oil change done. Upon return the attendant happily/nicely deducted the cost of the oil change from my rental fees.

No cars were available. The 2 cars they had, one was in the shop being serviced and the other was filthy and smaller than what i reserved. I called twice to make sure that my car would be available and was told yes it would be. I could not pick up the car at scheduled appointment time so I was told I could wait for an hour. We waited around and then I was told I would be given a call when the car was ready. 3 hours later, no call. Had to drive my own car out of town. This was not a professional experience. The young lady who was there did try but seemed overwhelmed.

There wasn't anything likeable about the experience. I arrived at the location and after a twenty minute wait, I was informed that none of the five cargo vans that they had on site were operable. I was informed that a reservation doesn't secure a vehicle. I was also informed that the website will allow you to make a reservation, but that it doesn't mean anything. I spent $19 to get there via Uber, spent another $45 getting a second Uber to a second location after spending 30 minutes calling six other locations, and saw the cost of the reservation increase by approximately $70. A lot of wasted time and money was spent on reserving a vehicle that was utterly pointless. I will not be using this service ever again.
