Easy pick up near sister in laws home we visited . All great . Bruce was the best friendly ,and patience made renting a car super pleasant .

Pickup time could have been more explicit

The staff was very friendly. The car was in pristine condition and the check-out and check-in process went smoothly. However, if there was another staff member assisting, the processes would go much quicker.

This was the first time renting a vehicle since before the pandemic. The young lady at the counter was super-professional, nice, and took the time to explain everything I needed to know to make the pickup very smooth. She did the very same at the drop-off. This Avis branch was wonderful and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a rental. On a sour note (which has nothing to do with Avis or the personnel): I was ASTONISHED at the outrageously high price it cost to rent this vehicle! It came out to almost $200 a day! This car normally would be under $50 a day, including all the bells and whistles and insurances added on. I HAD to rent a car to visit a family member up in Connecticut, since the public train was an undesirable option in these times of COVID, and the timing and distance from the train station to their home was very far. Renting a car made the journey only about 2+ hours each way. A lot faster. So I hope I won’t be renting another car any time soon until these pandemic rates fall back down to normal. But be that as it may, in spite of all the negativity of the current health situation, this Avis dealership went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make this experience ultimately a very positive one.
