They way overbooked - got to the counter and they told us they didn't have any vehicles - never even got the rental car

Only 3 people working with lines out the door. Took over 2 hours to rent a car. Majority of the issues were people had issues with not having credit card, or bank denying claim. Instead of having them step aside and take them after, they allowed the people to take 20 plus minutes to call their bank. Line would have moved much faster if they had people step aside and take the next person. Staff were rude. Would not recommend. Most other agencies did not have any lines.

They gave us a car that has been recalled by the manufacturer. No 4 wheel drive and the car just didn’t function all that well.

Pros:The vehicle was new and clean, had good fuel efficiency, and performed well.

Cons:The pick-up experience was terrible. The dollar counter had a very long and slow line. The staff requested redundant personal information that had already been entered into the online rental system. This wasted a lot of time. No other rental car companies had a line because they were able to process their rentals very fast. Many other companies simply have the keys and vehicle ready for quick pick-up and the rental agreement is provided via email. Dollar needs to do better before I decide to use them again.
