We arrived at GSO exhausted, after a very rough day of travel mishaps. The gent at the counter was super fast, courteous and kind. He even gave us an upgrade without us having to ask. Incredible experience!

I needed the rental due to a family member's funeral in Maryland so it was last minute it was suggested that i make the reservation ASAP but the funeral was delayed a day so when I needed to modify the reservation at the time of pick up the up-charge for the additional day was significant close to $25.00 over the daily rate for the other days and they were going to charge me double for all the airport taxes for the additional day. After some serious discussion I was able to get the taxes reduced to the same rate each day for the entire trip but that took a significant amount of time and I could have been on my way much sooner. Customer service could have been better!

I couldn’t actually rent the car after traveling to the airport to pickup the car. We were told by Alamo on the phone when we booked the car that we could pay using a debit card if it was attached to a checking account. Upon arriving at the Alamo check in counter we were informed that wasn’t true. Only a major credit card unless we were flying. We were charged for the insurance we chose to opt for. I’ve called Alamo and was told to contact Kayak. Good luck trying to actually talk to someone. I would like my money back. Timothy Frye
