Horrible. Only one person working a line of 50 people at BNA for a pick up. Ended up canceling and going with Budget.

Car had been smoked in and made everyone nauseous

The car was great, picking it up took me standing in line for an hour.

Spent a lot of time at the counter as they only had one person working the counter and several people in line.

On a holiday weekend there was ONE person working the counter for Dollar, Thrifty and Hertz. There were over 60 people in line and we stood there for over an hour. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I would have gladly paid more money to a different company that was able to get people in and out in under 10 minutes. Won’t use them again!

NEVER rent from Dollar, the orphan child of Hertz. Expect 0 customer service and runaround’s that will waste your time. WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL PAY. A quoted $350 one way from BNA to RDU went horribly wrong upon return. An older Kia Minivan ended up running me $850 for a 36 hour rental because I returned 4 hours late, despite calling Dollar (waiting 1 hour on hold), and being told the extra charges would amount to $31.50. Agent upon return said if I had a dispute to go to the Hertz counter, Hertz employee just checked my rental out on the computer and handed me the bill, not at all willing or able to hear that there was a discrepancy between being quoted $31.50 extra vs the nearly $400 extra I have paid. As someone loyal to National, I’m not making this same mistake again and advise everyone to avoid Dollar- possibly even Hertz too unless you’re a premium member.

The suv I rented was very dirty on the inside!

Customer service was above and beyond

They didn’t have any vehicles even though they were listed as available. They told me they would have one in about 30 minutes. 3 hours later I got a text notifying me I did not have the rental car I reserved.

Friendly staff in Nashville they upgraded our car because that’s all that was available. We came to pick up later than scheduled by Uber and it was a good thing because there would have been no cars available at that time. We waited approx 30 plus minutes for ours but once we had it all was well.

There should have had a walk through showing what electronic items are and how to use them. New and different models of cars have items that are not known to everyone like a sensor on the rearview mirror and where the gas cap release is located. Very frustrating.
