Ford car rentals in Jacksonville

Well not cancelling my reservation the minute I landed in LAX would have helped. So instead of a vehicle I reserved I had to go elsewhere and pay over double what I was expecting to pay. No alternate vehicle was even offered. Just flat out cancelled. So thanks for making my trip start off on a bad, and more expensive, foot.

Auckland airport is in renovation and you have to walk from car return area to terminal about 1/4 mile. My wife has bad ankle so not ideal return experience.

The car booked wasn’t available they didn’t upgrade my can or give me any car Instead . the Agent’s were helpless, careless and so ignorant with me .

The overall was experience was terrible. The price quoted for the rental was correct. They quoted me $16.88/ per day for insurance but charged me more than $70.00/ day. The contract is all in Spanish, so it is hard to determine what the charge is. I found out when I check my card statement. I immediately went to the office in Merida to resolve it but was told they (1) did not understand English well enough, and (2) they could not do anything about it. The car was high milage, the sides and rear of the car were scratched, the interior seating was badly stained and dirty. they said they had no better vehicle available. I will not do business with Payless ever again. I also question the value of using Kayak in the future. Note, I insure to two late model vehicles for about the same amount over 6 month period then they charged for 15 days. This should be a crime.

The price is very good but it takes a long time to deliver the car

Kayak sold me an insurance policy that Payless said was worthless and would not honor it unless I made a $3000.00 us dollar deposit with them. I feel Kayak should have known this and not pushed their insurance. I also feel I should have been alerted to the price of insurance at Payless ($775.00)us.Eric

Their support is non-existent. Just pay the little extra to go with a bigger brand and avoid this one.

Easirent was not at airport. It’s halfway across Austin. I abandoned the car pickup and got an UBER to our airBnB instead. When I went to pick up the car later on my second Uber I found it in an industrial park area, which wasn’t terribly concerning, but it had a couple red flags. Just not a place I would want to bring my family. Finally when I arrived the scene was utter chaos. I saw an employee walking around looking for a car clicking the key unlock to locate it while dozens of customers looked destitute and as frustrated as I was with the experience of not finding their car at the airport. As I walked inside I found a waiting area full of crying children and families waiting for cars and a line of the drivers about 8 deep with no one at the counter answering questions. It was then that the same employee from the parking lot walked back in and stepped behind the desk to continue what sounded like a frustrated conversation of a desperate customer to just take the quickest option to get a car and leave. After trying to ask the sole employee what the odds of getting my car in the next hour or two was I decided that I wasn’t prepared to do business with this company and ordered my return Uber to the airBnB and ordered a Turo car for the rest of our visit with a brilliant experience. Hugely disappointing overall. Would not recommend. Please avoid. I haven’t chased down the couple hundred of dollars that we lost on the reservation and not getting a car yet, but I’m not holding my breath.

Awful! Just awful! Too far from the airport behind a gun range. Dirty office up stairs. Rude workers.

They gave me the wrong car said it was a 4 by4 and over charged and I had to argue and prove from Jeep dealer it wasnt to get a charge.

Having a car would have been nice…! Not even the place I have rent didn’t advised me before I went there that they actually didn’t have any car available for me, they have transferred me to another Hertz location 10miles further telling me that they had plenty of cars and they would accept my rental confirmation code… well, this place didn’t has any car either!! When the customer service person called the other person to say « why haven’t you verified with me 1st? » he answered that we went there by our own and that he never said that they had car for us!!! Not enough to put my plans off, they also make us waste precious vacations time and money! I called when I came back asking if they could at least have a car ready for me for the next morning and they said they couldn’t guarantee… that ppl could extend their car rental so they couldn’t guarantee a car…!!!! Really?? How can you manger a business like that? Then he told me that the rental was canceled and I had to redo one!! He tried to make a rese For me as I was so upset and he kept me online for a half of hour for finally telling me that he couldn’t do it, I had to reso the a whole process online myself. Not even Hertz will never have my business, but Kayak either (was my first and last experience).

Inside rep was great. The outside of the car was dirty and the front of the car was covered with dead bugs

Rip off for my money

Dollar Car Rental gave away my reservation before my scheduled pick up time. They had no alternative similar option to offer.

Two hour wait in line to get to the rental car desk. Then they didn’t have keys for cars, car seats, or the size car for our reservation. Charged us $30 for Sirius radio for a car that didn’t have digital radio.
