Toyota car rentals in Fresno

While Payless advertise a 100% smoke-free fleet rental car had definitely been smoked in. I tried to clear the air every time I got in it losing a can of febreze but could never overcome the smoking stench. Additionally, the car had numerous dings and the transmission made noise whenever it was in gear. The car definitely had mechanical, cosmetic, and smoking odor problems.

Good experience, everything was handled efficiently and on time The shuttle was ready to pick up to and from airport. The car we got was very basic so at times it struggled to drive uphill but we made it.

The overall was experience was terrible. The price quoted for the rental was correct. They quoted me $16.88/ per day for insurance but charged me more than $70.00/ day. The contract is all in Spanish, so it is hard to determine what the charge is. I found out when I check my card statement. I immediately went to the office in Merida to resolve it but was told they (1) did not understand English well enough, and (2) they could not do anything about it. The car was high milage, the sides and rear of the car were scratched, the interior seating was badly stained and dirty. they said they had no better vehicle available. I will not do business with Payless ever again. I also question the value of using Kayak in the future. Note, I insure to two late model vehicles for about the same amount over 6 month period then they charged for 15 days. This should be a crime.

I wouldn't change anything. They had great service and really work with you. I would definitely rent from this location again.🙂

The car had scratches all over it. When I arrived at the drop-off location they tried to blame one of the scratches on me (a scratch that I know was pointed out by the initial agent in Fresno where I picked up the car). I had to fill out an incident report even though the "incident" was the initial agent's failure to do her job properly. Still awaiting word from Budget as to what they decide. What I learned is that you need to video the whole encounter of the walk through to ensure you aren't fleeced for damages already done to a rental car. I will never rent with Budget again.

Staff was professional and friendly.

When I arrived to pick up car they told me they don’t do one way pickups from this location. When I showed them my reservation, they said it doesn’t matter because they’re a franchise and not corporate. Don’t save yourself time and hassle and don’t rent at this location. After 2 hours on the phone with Avis corporate, they gave me a car that wasn’t cleaned at all. One of back mirrors was scratched to the point you couldn’t see anything out of it.

It was closed. Could not pick up car.

When I arrived to pick up car. There were no cars available and I was given the option to take a truck, cancel and see if another company had cars, or wait until cars come in.

Per your website, I should only pay $97. Dollar charged me another $156 on top of the $68 that I paid upfront. I won’t use your site again. I will rent straight from the rental place so I get the correct price.

Rental handled by Hertz personnel at airport and was easy and prompt. Also easy access and drop off at Fresno International airport.

We turned up at the airport to collect our car and Thrifty said they had no cars left for us. We ended up having to spend hundreds of dollars to find alternative transport for our holiday. Will not book with Thrifty again

Refunded my money for mistakes on charging for cancelations

They gave us car options. The gal at the counter was very nice and friendly. They were willing to work with me on gas fill up when car was being returned. I really appreciated that. They said if it was half way full or better they would share in cost of fill up. The little things like that is why I will be back. What could’ve been better: It took awhile for all the paperwork. They need more help at peak times. Long line to drop off.
