They didn't have any cars available when i went to pick up my reservation, so i never got a car. It ended up costing me hundreds of dollars because i had to uber upstate instead.

They did not have my car available at my pick up time and told me I would have to wait 2 hours. I asked for some sort of compensation and they refused. I had sadly already paid for my rental. I called customer service at Hertz and they were rude and refused to let me speak to their supervisor. There were about 20 angry people waiting for cars when I finally left with a vehicle. They overbook and don't have vehicles available to meet their obligations and ruin people's vacations.

Check in desk had one woman. It was an hour and a half wait to get checked in and do paperwork. I did not wait cause that is insane. Why is there only ONE person on a Saturday when everyone is trying to leave NYC?

The car was great and super clean. The gentleman who helped check us in was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, when we checked in he was the only person working and thus there was quite a long wait for us to check in but as soon as he got to us he was really efficient.

We called to extend the car by a few hours and when we went to return the shop was closed with no drop box or instructions of what do to. I was able to get in touch with someone who was very helpful and told me to return in the morning. When I returned the following morning there was a massive line of cars to the point that we were all pulled up in the street, blocking traffic. A helpful passerby helped to direct traffic to clear the obstruction from the road, as no one from either rental agency was addressing it. Eventually and gentleman came out and told me to simply leave the car and they would deal with it. I did so, but there was no formal hand off or drop-off process.

Everything was great. I arrived just before closing at 5:59, yet Thomas was still super accommodating and professional. Drop off was smooth and efficient as well, and communication was very clear. Will definitely rent from this location again.!
