In a nineteenth-century palace near Porta Nuova station and elegant Via Roma, the Best Western Crystal Palace Hotel, Turin, Italy, makes a refined base for a business trip or a weekend in Italy's first capital. Comfortable rooms and a central setting put the metro, the railway station and Via Roma, Turin's principal shopping street, right at the door. From here the whole stately city, the first capital of a united Italy, opens up on foot. A bar and a generous breakfast round out the refined, central stay, with the arcaded shopping streets just outside the door. Turin's arcaded Via Roma runs between grand squares lined with historic cafes serving the city's famous chocolate, the landmark Mole Antonelliana with its cinema museum and the world-class Egyptian Museum stand close by, and the royal palaces of the Savoy kings, the riverside Valentino park and the River Po complete the picture. Snow-capped Alps close off the view down every street. CIR Code: 001272-ALB-00133 CIN Code: IT001272A1GJM66NBH
