For accommodations that are more like a home away from home, Vivo Resorts has just those types of apartment-style units. The property sits right along the Emerald Coast and is backed by the Sierra del Madre mountains. This location is close to great surfing spots, places to go snorkeling and scuba diving, and a national park.
Vivo Resorts was built in 2012. It has 110 apartments on offer. There are two restaurants and two poolside bars at the property. The hotel hosts a free kids' club, has a children's pool, and offers free supervised activities for little ones. There are three adult pools, two outdoor tennis courts, and a convenience store on the premises. If you want to go exploring, there's an area shuttle running from the hotel for guest use.
You'll have your pick of many different unit sizes. There are mountain view studios, one-bedroom residences with partial ocean views, on up to four-bedroom residences with oceanfront views. You can also book three-bedroom luxury villas with private pools and ocean views. Some of the amenities you'll get to enjoy include full kitchens, large plasma TVs with satellite programming, free Wi-Fi, and even washers and dryers.
Restaurants included at Vivo Resorts are Ernesto's, which serves fusion dishes and is open for all meals, Coco Thai, which is open for lunch and dinner and includes a bar, and Mezcalinas, which is an on-site sports bar.
The Commercial Walkway is an active area that's less than 10 miles from Vivo Resorts. There are several beaches you can check out on your trip. You can also take a day-trip to Parque Nacional Lagunas de Chacahua.
