car not clean.

Not sure whose fault it was, but the pick-up location for my rental closes at 12 on Saturday and with my pickup time being at 12 it caused a problem. If I had showed up a minute later I wouldn’t have been able to pick up the vehicle. Car was fine, a little musty but other than that it was ok.

I opted to rent a Tesla Model 3 since Hertz was running a promotion. Since I had never before driven a Tesla, I was expecting some sort of orientation. The rep offered none when I asked and said, "We just assume folks already know how to operate it if they're renting it." I spent 15 minutes in the parking lot trying to figure out how to adjust the mirrors and how to put it in Drive. UGH! When I asked him where the nearest charging station was he replied, "I don't know but I hear there's one at the Wawa station at the corner of Honore and Clark." I think Hertz is crazy to rent a Tesla without any instructions. I almost got rear-ended the first time I took my foot off the accelerator. They slow down so fast it's as if you're applying the brakes hard.

The car rental location was closed at 2, and our reservation started at 2, so we couldn’t pick up the car. We missed all our plans. Very frustrating experience.

No window washer fluid. Couldn’t connect to wi-fi so had to use Google maps only on my phone.

Had to wait 20 minutes for car to be washed. Staff was nice, but gave me a car with less than one quarter gas.

They did not have a car so we had to take a Jeep which was more $ telling us to return next day to change out. We did still no car told us to come back next day which we called 1st to confirm. Arrived they 1st told us they had to clean the car then said it was cleaned. It was not cleaned we found personal items in car including an apron and bottle opener in addition there was a film on outside of windshield that made driving at night dangerous. Returned the car to the Fruitville location to learn we were charged the $25/day insurance which we told Clark Rd twice we didn't want & we advised on lack of cleanliness.We told if car came from them this wouldn't have happened and that we would need to call Clark Rd to resolve insurance issue.Tried to call Clark Rd from the time we left Fruitville and was on hold from the time we left to almost to airport. Clark Rd staff was rude and ubrupt on insurance and as I explained we were never given a paper copy or email or charges. Did get charges removed. Recieved same inquiry as this from Enterprise and I sent all of above and have heard nothing. So now will see if I hear from this. Lack of reponses will certainly impact my choices in furture.

They had no cars at pickup time. Line was 25 deep, took almost 3 hrs to get car!

I reserved a Ford Mustang sports car and when I went to pick it up they said they didn’t have it because they were waiting for someone to return it. They gave me a Ford Explorer which had terrible gas mileage. I’m sure the Mustang had comparable gas mileage, but I don’t mind paying more for a sports car with superior handling and power instead of a gas guzzling suv.

Fast efficient, Claire who checked us in was kind and helpful answered questions, explained rental contract in detail. Car was clean did not smell. Pick up and drop off helpful no line but plenty of space to sit.
