I wanted to rent the BMW suv advertised and best they could do was a giant Infinity SUV. These are not the same. Felt I paid for a Luxury SUV and got much less. I know Infinity and probably Alamo think it’s the same, but they are not

The car I reserved wasn’t there I paid for premium SUV extended Suburban like with 7 passengers, l got an infinite with 6 passengers only, no storage space what so ever. I had to change all my plans just because of that.

Beware of the deals! I was given and EV and the infrastructure just isn’t there for them. While there were charging stations in providence, there were few in cape cod. Either charging stations were full or out of order. Also difficult to find rapid charging stations. To get a full charge it takes 10 hours! I was definitely afraid I wasn’t even going to make it back to the airport to return the car.

The car smelled like smoke, there was a rattle sound on the side of the car when we drove and there was food left behind by the previous driver. For how much we paid I would expect a little better.

I asked about a Toll road package and was told to just use the Toll roads and pay later when we turned in the car. The customer service person said it would be easier and cheaper that way. When we returned the car, it was so early, they were closed. Well, fast forward and I get an $89 charge for tolls! In addition, the email says I "was offered a Toll package and declined." Um, no. So, while the car was great, clean and checkout was easy, I would think twice before using Dollar again. Or just INSIST on a Toll package to save the $89 charge later!

Loved the vehicle! Hated the long wait to get it though. It was a Friday and you only had 1 person behind the desk. The office area couldn't even hold all the people waiting. The person behind the desk was quick but the amount of people waiting was unreal. None of the other car rental companies had a line like this. But overall everyone was nice, the car was great, and drop off was a breeze!

Arrived in late night and ckecked in at Hertz Gold; departed early morning and no one at checl-in area. So no real life contact with Dollart. Car was great.

1st they charge you 12 dollars for picking the car up 1 hr early bring it back an hr early who cares filled the tank in mass used less then a quarter of a tank to drop it off charged 20 dollars never again

Our experience was terrible. They offered us an electric crossover which was a 2023. We realized the location wasn’t actually in the airport but a few blocks and they wouldn’t allow us to move the location so we had to Uber there. They also wouldn’t change the drop off location. Then they gave us the car with 25% battery and didn’t explain how to find chargers at all. They charged over $100 in fees for no reason besides the fact that I couldn’t waste hours charging the car before drop off. Waste of time, bad attitudes, and terrible customer service. NEVER rent an electric car and never rent from this location outside the airport.

I arrived to find out that my reservation had somehow been scheduled for the next week because the manager said they were fully booked. I tried to cancel it there but was told I needed to call an 800 number. After rushing to find another rental car nearby and then traveling to my meeting, I finally got around to calling the 800 number. I was told by a rude customer service agent that it had been over 24 hours since I made the reservation and so a $50 cancelation fee would be applied. It had been maybe 26/28 hours since I made the reservation and was still an entire week before the rental so you think there would be some leniency, but nope. When I told the customer service representative that the system had changed my dates to next week, he responded by saying that it was Kayak/Priceline's system that erred, not Hertz's, so it was too bad for me. All in all, I was out nearly $100 dollars extra for having to schedule any car I could find the day of then out another $50 because I canceled my car at Hertz a few hours late because I had to call an 800 number. There customer service was rude and unhelpful and I do not recommend booking with them.

I arrived to pick up the car with enough room on my credit card to pay for it and then I was informed I needed to have an additional $200 available on the card in order to get the car. This was never disclosed to me. Luckily I was able to fix it on the spot otherwise the trip would have been ruined before it even started. Additionally after I got the rental documents I was informed there was no customer parking so I had to leave without the rental car go find a place to park my car and walk back to the facility to pick up the rental. After finally getting to the car the exterior was dirty but more concerning the interior clearly had not been wiped down at all. In this day in age of covid-19 that practice is unacceptable and irresponsible. I had to drive to my house before going where I needed to go so I could sanitize all the touch surfaces inside the car. Between having to walk back to the facility after finding parking and having to stop and clean the car I was behind on my schedule. The car itself performed as you would expect for a new vehicle with only 25,000 miles on it. The person behind the counter was polite and performed her job as you would expect.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I actually wasn't sure it would work out - it was too easy! The price was the best (and I compared a lot) the car was exactly what I was looking for, the dates had the car available, and I didn't have to pay until pick up. There was a courtesy call two days prior to confirm my reservation. I was an hour late and they called the day of to make sure the details were correct. The vehicle was perfect! The ease of everything from start to finish was unbelievable. Customer for life!
