I asked for a compact e ded up with a 7 seatwr gas guzzler for me. I am One person . 5 ft tall and barely see over the dash. After flying 29 hours a d arriving at 1030pm the experience wS horrible. The attendant at the desk argued and rebutted my claims my frustration until he had me in tears. The car had damage on it which he refused to come out and notated. After 2 hrs hrs of worthless arguing that I would take it but bring it back in the morning. His answer was "it won't do u no good, we are not going to exchange it. You signed up for a mysterycar. I did not. Between Kayak , priceline and Avis I was assigned a mystery car but I had clicked on a Compact. In the end it was now 2 hrs later, I was angry frustrated and exhausted. I took it but not before taking my own photos Horrid experience.

I had a bad experience with this particular Dollar and to be honest if i had known it would that the rental would be from dollar I would of cancelled. But to my surprise I had the pleasure of being assisted by Veronica and Gabriel, from the start Veronica was pleasant and professional and she went above and beyond to make sure everything I needed for my rental was done and done with a smile. There was other people in the line waiting and giving up the spot just because they was assisted by her and was willing to spend more time there because they knew she would do a great job. I glanced over at the Hertz team and they all looked grumpy and unpleasant. All in all was a good experience.

Drop off was incredibly easy, check-in wasn’t difficult but there was a very long line. However, when we got the car, the front windshield on the driver side had a large, cloudy patch on it (approx. 1 foot x 1 foot or so) which made it difficult to see to drive. I called attention to it when we were driving out of the lot but he just blew it off. I bought Windex to clean it but it was sticky and extremely difficult to remove — and then I was stuck on my trip with glass cleaner I didn't need. While the interior was fine, I really wish they'd rented me a car with a clean windshield or at least cleaned while I was there.

Very nice team to check us in and out and we were very happy with the choice of vehicles and how quickly the checkout and checkin process went. The car was clean, quiet and efficient and we have nothing but great things to say about Dollar every step of the way. Thank you for the experience.

Best value car rental option at IAD so I didn't expect much. Instead the staff was very helpful. Special mention to Luke Luwis who provided me with exceptional customer service, including leaving his post to personally check on my preferred EV rental. I was really impressed by his going above and beyond his responsibility. Great job!

Thirfty did not have any cars available when I arrived. They were going to give me a Camaro but I honestly don't know how people drive those things. Having my wife and toddler with me just made it a hard no. After some haggling I was given a Ford SUV which was fine.

The rental car was absolutely disgusting inside when I picked it up. There was a plug in the tire that eventually leaked and left me stranded on the side of the road for a short while. The windshield washer fluid broke and we could not clean the windshield during a snow storm so the salt got all over the windshield and we could barely see. Worst rental cars experience I've ever had by far.

Waited over an hour and a half to pick up my car. The office was not well air conditioned. Was standing in line the whole time. Quite tiring after a long fight. Also the bus shuttle from the airport took a long time to arrive. (Four Alamo buses had passed during my wait.)

The DC Branch of the Budget / Avis counter is a top notch crew. They got slammed with a steady stream of busloads coming in over 2023 Mother's Day Weekend and it overwhelmed the lobby but the team did a fantastic job managing the crowd and getting everyone into wheels and on their way. Outstanding team at that branch.

Full economy, quick service for both pick-up and drop-off, quiet car. The car had a high-frequency vibration at highway speeds. All tires need to be spin-balanced and alignment checked. Directions for the drop-off point were misleading, with contradicting paperwork giving a street address in one place and terminal in another. Enterprise was in a different location than most of the other agencies (poor signage didn't help).

the staff at the office was very friendly and helpful, there was an issue with my credit card magnetic stripe and they worked hard to resolve the issue. the car was clean, there were several different models to choose from and the pickup and return process was very convenient
