I had contract for reservation and was given a "courtesy" call saying local agency didn't have car I'd reserved, but I could get another car at additional charge. Agent was infuriatingly insistent that he was doing me a courtesy by telling me he could charge me an additional charge, and he would not honor the contract... when I called Hertz the company was no more helpful... I was told a supervisor would call back, but that never happened... experience could not have been worse

I waited an hour and a half to pick up the rental car. Hertz appeared to be understaffed as demonstrated by the other people waiting who stated they also had been waiting for over an hour. I missed a wedding rehearsal due to waiting for the rental car for so long. Another person waiting said they were very late for work. The employee who helped me was friendly. Hertz, please make sure you staff enough employees on a Friday afternoon so folks are not waiting over an hour for their rental car.

Not a very good quality car. Beat up. Pulled to the right. 50 miles/day then .50c/mile. Incorrect staring mileage on rental form. Wouldn’t rent from this location again.

Customer service needs a lot of improvement. The rental provided had brakes that were shot. Every stop or slow movement you could hear the brakes screech. This was the only vehicle available for me to rent.
