They would it honor what we booked our reservation for and we’re trying to charge 3 times the amount. The worker would not tell us why it was so much more. She just said “it’s just what the computer gave me” and couldn’t give us any sort of reasoning except that it was additional fees, but she couldn’t tell us what the fees were. We ended up not even picking up the rental because we were not willing to pay 3 times what we booked for with no explanation at all.

Loved the car I had reserved and eventually rented. The Hendersonville office didn’t want to give me the car (Mustang) I’d rented..even calling me the day before saying there were none anywhere in the fleet. My research showed the Nashville Airport had one for the time I’d reserved. Hendersonville offered me an SUV and after i said yes they changed their mind and said I couldn’t have it. After much hassle over 2 days I had to drive to Nashville Airport to get the Mustang…they wouldn’t bother to deliver it to Hendersonville. My son used to work for Avis/Budget delivering cars to their branches from the airport so I knew they were being unprofessional. Also, when i returned it they were 15” late opening their office , making my “ride” late getting to work. I loved the car but there was unnecessary stress and hassle.

Professional and courteous staff. Easy process. Honored and extended discount and upgrade. Most importantly during a time of vehicle shortage; they HAVE VEHICLES for rent. Helps improve the Budget Rental brand and letting people know they rent more than just moving trucks. Thankful for the cool vehicle I got to rent.

Avis called me, literally, as my Uber was pulling up to drive me to the rental location to tell me they did not have any cars available for the day. I ended up paying almost double for a last minute rental from another service, was very late getting where I needed to be AND I have a $50 charge on my credit card from Avis and the insurance yet to be refunded. Terrible, defensive agent when they called at the last minute too. Avis will never get my business again and I may need Kayak to assist with getting these charges reversed/refunded.
