Friendly and efficient service! We needed a car on short notice from a specific location that provided night drop off to avoid being charged for an additional day. Hertz in Chandler accommodated us beautifully. The managers choice car selection definitely worked in our favor. We got a great vehicle at a great price. When i returned the car an hour and a half early the car was not entered until returned until later creating more expense for the rental. They start the rental the moment they enter it in the computer but are very slow to enter the return in the computer. They do all sort of things then enter the return. Costing more than it should.

Went to pick up car and they told me the one I paid for wasn't available so they offered an suv at no extra charge. I explained that I was the only traveler and didn't want to pay more for gas with an suv. She said that that the suv was ready now but if I wanted a car smaller than I paid for then it would be 30 mins to clean. I told them I would wait. I got to the rental place at 11:50 for a noon pick up. I ended up finally getting my keys well after 12:50. I got in the car and it smelled good but was dirty. Some sort of spilled liquid in center console and dust/dirt on dash. To be honest I just wanted to get on my trip so I didn't say anything. Overall was a pretty disappointing expirence.

Reservation was for full size car, didn't have available so was upgraded to a larger car (less m.p.g. but preferred due to number of passengers) for same price. Didn't pay attention to initialing contract before setting out but upon returning car realized was charged $75 more than reservation, mentioned that to the receiving agent which apologized and stated she couldn't do anything then (Saturday) but would take care of it on Monday, which to my relief she did and saved the whole experience. Don't know why/how the other agent got it wrong, just glad she was there.
