Went with the Mystery car, never expecting them to offer me an electric vehicle; that was ridiculous. I didn’t care what model of car I got, but never expected the rate to be an electric vehicle. Without being familiar with the area AND having a limited amount of time, finding and spending time at a “plug” was not an option. So warning to anyone else not a good deal. Until I went to the next available vehicle it was over $100 more. In addition they did not have an economy car just a mid-size. I did not use them. I went to Enterprise.

The mdt airport could use better signage for picking up cars. Service was thorough and friendly and quick. They walked the car with me to make sure all was well. Also ended up with a free upgrade to a mini van.

I opted for paying for gas which requires you to know how much gas you’re using before. I paid for a full tank for convenience and only used half. They should credit you back. Big scam. If you don’t opt for gas and you don’t fill it up exactly to the mark, then they also charge you.
The car brakes were not well. But the car otherwise looked and ran perfect!! Totally felt safe otherwise. I replied to the initial contact email at the beginning of the rental which seemed courteous but they never replied to my concerns throughout the two week rental. So that would reinforce my disbelief in an initial email message versus a human voice on the phone calling to check how the rental was going at the beginning of the rental.

Vehicle, Nissan Sentra was clean and comfortable. Due to airline flight cancellation, return trip required a change of location for rental car return. Alamo hit me with a $600.00 charge which cost more that the weekly rental rate. Alamo should be upfront with cost information related to change of return location.

I DID NOT ORDER A ELECTRIC CAR THEY BLAMED IT ON PRICELINE, THEY WOULD NOT WORK WITH ME TO GET A GAS CAR, GIRL WAS RUDE AND TALKED WAY TO FAST ON HOW TO USE THE ELECTRIC CAR. ONLY GOOD EXPERIENCE WAS THE GIRLS INSIDE WHEN I RETURNED IT, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE.

Pick up and drop off was easy. Everyone was courteous and friendly.
tried to give me an E-car i said i didn’t want 1. she charged me xtra. $15. per day. upgrade. poor. i tried to cal them 2 days in a row. before the rental day. no answer. poor. then charged me for gas. i made sure it was fuel. i drove 15 miles after i filled up. to the airport. really. never again. she said i should of read the fine print. really. not happy

I’m not sure if it is standard policy, but I went up to the desk and asked what rate they could give me with AAA and I said kayak was quoting $49. The woman behind the desk said it would be $130 or something. She said I could book through kayak and they would honor it. So, I went through all of it for her to then say, they didn’t have any of that size car and it would be what she originally quoted. Granted I haven’t rented a car in a few years, but I thought they would upgrade you at no cost if they ran out of the type of car you requested. She said because she had quoted me first they couldn’t do that. (Even though I told her the price on kayak before she gave me the quote.) I ended up canceling and going with Budget, but I made sure to book through kayak first and didn’t have any issues with them.

The car had damage that wasn’t chronicled at the rental counter - had to go back in . Also- the rental counter was very difficult to find due to poor signage. Also, the phone charging port didn’t work which was particularly annoying for me since my old phone was dying when I picked the car up.
