Pick up was a cluster, there were so many waiting in a line, but no signs to inform fast break members to head out to the lot Kiosk versus standing in a line to pick up a vehicle. Drop off was horrible. There was a ding from a car door on the right quarter panel that wasn't documented on the yellow sheet. The attendant brought it to my attention, which was fine, but her attitude was very accusatory and borderline rude/nasty. I did not appreciate the service at that point. I will likely stick with the more expensive Hertz rental car service due to their more friendly customer service.

We stood in line at the Budget counter at the McCarran airport from 3:15-5:00am waiting to pick up our car. That was after waiting for over 20 minutes outside terminal 3 in the cold weather for the shuttle bus. Thankfully they still had the SUV we reserved. The car was great, although it smelled faintly of cigarette smoke the whole week. On our return, we ran out of gas 1.5 miles away from the rental car return on the interstate. We called budgets roadside assistance line who assured us we would have text message soon with an ETA for help. Forty five minutes later and NO text message the highway patrol pulled over to help us. They radioed for gas which arrived in 15 minutes. Only after we had turned in our rental car did I get a text message with an ETA for another 60 minutes for the roadside help. When I clicked the link in the text message to cancel, it said I had to call. I sat on hold for 20 minutes before getting a human to cancel. In the meantime the tow truck driver called and left no message. When I got off the phone with budget from cancelling an angry dispatch driver called me demanding I answer the drivers phone call. I assured him highway patrol had already helped us and he could cancel. In the 60 minutes I waited for a text message from Budget to help, I tried to call back twice and get an ETA. Each time I sat on hold for more than 10 minutes without getting to speak to a human. The cars are great but their customer service sucks.
