Great service

Everything was excellent … except the price. Really expensive, but, it was the only place in town with an available one-way rental.

After making the reservation they did not have a vehicle to rent. It was disappointing that the site would allow for the reservation before checking their inventory. Put us in a big bind.

"Yeah your Kayak reservation means nothing", the tired clerk said. After having called Kayak, who routed me to a Priceline number, who routed me to a national Enterprise number, to confirm there was a car available, an Indian call center rep cheerily told me "of course sir, they have plenty of cars, rest assured your reservation is confirmed". So I flew into Shreveport and when I arrived, I waited with other tired travelers about 40 minutes past opening until the clerk showed up (I was first in line). She said there were no cars available. That "Oh you booked with Kayak? Yeah they have no idea if we have cars or not." I asked when she would have cars available. She said maybe in a week, but maybe not, they'd been fully booked for weeks. I asked how I should have booked the car. She said there's no good way to do it, but that I could try calling the phone at the desk. I asked for the number. She said she wasn't allowed to give it out. What??? I will NEVER use Kayak again. And I probably won't do Enterprise/National.

I did not receive car

Thrifty decided that my VISA was not a “major” credit card and could not rent the car to me, BUT kept every bit of my payment for said rental of $238

Horrible. Rented a car online. Got to desk and they said “sorry we don’t have any cars even though it let you book online.”

You let me book a car that they did not have! I paid for a uber $70 round trip to the airport to get a car and they had none!

Fist car I picked up was damaged. No one out there to tell its damaged. there is not gate booth to go thru. I came back to the airport and had to go back inside to exchange for another car.
